Of those 400,000 charts, 33,287 had the Sun in Aries. That is 8.32 percent, which is a hair under an even twelfth (8.33 percent). Then I asked, for those 33,287 men and women, where Mars and Venus had landed.
Number one: only one Aries in nine is a double Aries
Mars rules Aries, so the folk wisdom says the Aries man is a Mars man twice over. The count says otherwise. Of the 33,287 Aries Suns, Mars was also in Aries 3,600 times. That is 10.82 percent. Roughly one in nine.

In 100 percent of them, Mars was moving backwards across the sky, what astrology calls retrograde. That is not a coincidence. Again the counts add to 33,287. Seven signs score a flat zero. Venus in Libra, Venus in Scorpio, Venus in Leo: none of them exist for an Aries Sun. Not rare. Impossible.
